JUNGLE
SAFARI
|
Nepal
has altogether 16 wildlife reserves and national parks.
Many of the worlds endangered species inhabit these
areas, such as the one-horned rhino, the Royal Bengal
tiger, the snow leopard, the blue clouded-leopard, the
red panda, the blue bull, the blue sheep and the long-snouted
fish eating gharial crocodile. They are also home to almost
10 % of the worlds bird species and boast a diverse
and unique flora and fauna.
You
can book Jungle Safaris with elephant rides and a comfortable
stay in one of the jungle resorts at Chitwan National
Park. Enjoy bird-watching expeditions at the Koshi Tappu
wildlife reserve or the Shivapuri watershed and wildlife
reserve.
